Consumer marketing director prepared to supervise ticket sales and more
Phoenix International Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber has announced that Director of Consumer Marketing & Partnership Activation Caren Murphy will take on an expanded role for the track, as she will begin to oversee ticket sales, customer care, and venue experience in addition to her current responsibilities.
Murphy has been with PIR since 2003, having also served as Senior Manager of Consumer Marketing.
Murphy's enhanced role entrusts her with the supervision of all ticket sales and customer care department personnel. With her expanded position comes the duty of supervising ticket promotion and sales operations, including renewals and season ticket efforts. Murphy will also work closely with the venue experience department to ensure the continued growth of PIR into NASCAR's most fan-friendly destination.
"We are delighted to announce Caren Murphy's expanded role with PIR," said Sperber. "She has a proven track record of success and we are confident that under her guidance our consumer marketing efforts will be greatly enhanced."
Kristie Maggs will also take on additional responsibilities within PIR's marketing arm, as she has been named Senior Manager of Consumer Marketing, effective immediately. Maggs has served as PIR's Consumer Marketing Manager for more than a year.
